The 2014 Valentines dance
Every year my school has a Halloween dance and a valentine dance. This year it was on the night before Valentine’s Day. My friends and I have a ritual that we always get ready at my house.
This year it was very fun. Right after school my friends Kenzie, Sara, Peyton and Heather came to my house. We started with painting our nails; every one of us did a different color. I did mine white. Then we curled our hair, tried on our dresses and then had dinner. We had pasta and pizza for dinner, it was delicious. Then we walked down the icy alley towards my school. As we stood in the line up we talked about who we were going to dance with. Then the fun began!
We danced and dance and danced until our throats hurt from yelling and our feet hurt from jumping. We danced with everyone. It was very very fun!
Then we slowly ( and painfully ) walked back up the alley towards my house where everyone would get picked up. As we said goodbye I couldn’t help thinking about the next dance. I hope it will be as fun as this one was!
