Etenstijd!
Komt iedereen eten!

Patti McPherson is counting herself lucky after she was bluff charged by a bear by Nelson’s cemetery this weekend, reports Greg Nesteroff for the Nelson Star.

McPherson was jogging on Saturday, May 7 when she heard a crashing through the bushes. However, when she turned, “there was a bear charging at me. I just froze on the spot. I remembered to be still. Some people make noise, but I didn’t. I didn’t stare it down; I stared to the side. It came charging straight at me, but then it was like it bounced off an invisible barrier and carried on.”

McPherson believes the animal was a grizzly and notified conservation officers about her encounter.
