Regions. Monitor weather conditions..Listen for updated statements.
A moist southwest flow developing in the upper levels will combine with a shallow layer of Arctic air to give snow across many southern regions overnight. Snowfall amounts will generally be from 2 to 5 cm. However in the upslope and higher terrain areas amounts of 5 to 10 cm are likely. Snow will spread into the central interior early Friday and change to rain at many southern locations as milder air begins to surface with the low moving into central British Columbia. Another 5 to 10 cm of snow are possible over the favored areas.
Be prepared for winter driving conditions with areas of heavy snow poor visibilities and rapidly changing conditions.
