log
The streets of Nelson are empty,
The foods on the shelves are no longer plenty.
It is a bewildering sight to see,
and very hard to believe.
A small town like ours in its own little bubble,
Was surprisingly affected by this coronavirus trouble.
The machine of humanity has been halted to a stop,
Till the time comes that the infected rate starts to drop.
All this trouble from a bowl of bat soup,
Putting lives at stake of the old age group.
What’s next in this strange pandemic,
All the students missing their academics.
What’s next for the shop keepers, workers and elderly?
more people suffering steadily.
What’s next for the world and its human beings?
All these problems when I could be skiing.
For now, all I can do is sit here and complain,
But I know that our world will never be the same.
Misschien leuk!?
