Though late, the treats still bring
Happy feelings, like a joyous ring.
Savoring each bite with glee,
A reminder that good things come to those who wait, you'll see.
So let us not be sad,
For these pepernoten are not bad,
Though delayed, they bring us cheer,
A sweet treat to hold us dear.
And as we munch and smile,
Let us remember, all the while,
That sometimes, good things come,
